About Steven Coen
I’m Steven Coen, CEO of SaRA Health, an entrepreneur, husband, father, mediocre weightlifter, and lifelong learner passionate about using technology to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives.
Based in Kansas City, Missouri, I believe the best innovations happen when ambitious ideas meet practical execution and a genuine desire to help others. My mission is simple: improve the lives of the people who use our products and the employees who help bring our vision to life.
At SaRA Health, we’re working to improve—and even save—lives through text-based communication. I’m passionate about finding innovative, accessible ways to connect with people, support their well-being, and create meaningful outcomes. I believe technology can do more than make processes faster; when thoughtfully designed and implemented, it can help people when they need it most.
Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Leadership
Entrepreneurship has been part of my DNA since I started my first venture at 17, exploring arbitrage opportunities with Red Bull. Since then, I’ve continued building, experimenting, and turning ideas into businesses and measurable results.
During my undergraduate years, I launched MyRiBiT, which went on to win Kansas State University's Next Big Thing Competition. That experience reinforced my belief in challenging assumptions, pursuing opportunities, and building solutions that create real value.
My career has also included turning ambitious ideas into large-scale business initiatives within Deloitte. I helped take the Smart Factory of Wichita from an initial concept to revenue generation, contributing to an initiative that ultimately attracted more than $200 million in firm investment. I also led the launch of a major AI software initiative, taking it from the idea stage to more than $30 million in first-year revenue.
These experiences shaped how I approach leadership: combine entrepreneurial thinking with disciplined execution, bring talented people together around a shared vision, and focus on outcomes that matter.
Today, as CEO of SaRA Health, I bring that same mindset to digital health innovation—building a company, developing people, and pursuing opportunities to make a lasting impact.
What Drives Me
I’m motivated by the intersection of technology, entrepreneurship, human connection, and measurable impact. I enjoy exploring new ideas, having thoughtful conversations, learning from people with different perspectives, and finding practical ways to turn challenges into opportunities.
As a leader, I believe success goes beyond revenue, recognition, or growth. It also means creating an environment where employees can do meaningful work, customers feel the difference, and the mission remains bigger than any one individual.

Outside of work, I’m a husband, father, and someone who believes personal growth is a lifelong pursuit.
I’ve maintained a 1,100+ day Duolingo streak learning German—a reminder that consistency often matters more than perfection. I’m also a Master's Nationals weightlifting qualifier, although “mediocre weightlifter” remains a more accurate description of my abilities on most days.
I enjoy the process of getting a little better, whether that means learning a language, improving a lift, exploring a new idea, or having a conversation that changes how I see the world.
